About Jake Hargis

(The designer to decide the good location)

Jake Hargis spent 25 years earning his understanding of
seafood the hard way—in the Alaskan and Washington
waters.

Beginning his career as a commercial diver harvesting
geoduck, sea cucumber, and sea urchin, Jake developed
an uncompromising standard for quality and sustainability.
That firsthand experience led him from harvesting to building a business supplying customers with truly world-class
seafood.

Today, Jake brings that journey full circle with The Happiest
Clam in Singapore, a Chinatown-based storefront serving
home cooks and top restaurants alike. Every product
reflects his belief that exceptional seafood starts with
respect for the ocean and ends with complete trust at the
table.
